Started by avantgarde writer/filmmaker Brian Labrecque, these
cutting-edge short films, animated videos, and books are meant to
stretch the mind and make you think, or laugh, or both.
Brian Labrecque is an avantgarde independent filmmaker living on Cape
He is known for his gender-bending films such as 2004's Far Too Gone,
which tells the story of Josh, a strange guy in Seattle who thinks he's
2006 saw the release of his short film Meeting Hillary, which told the
story of two young witches in a battle to the death. In 2007, he
released Fear of Lemonade, an epic mind-bending psychotronic film about
a shisha addict who is tormented by a Girl Scout from Hell.
In 2010, the epic graphic novel "Effing Brutal" was released as a book
AND video graphic novel DVD, the story is the continuation and full
realization of the adventures of Josh and his army of losers!
For 2011, Depressing Prospects released Deliriotic, a
psychotronic short film about journeys into another dimension.
In 2012, a name change to "Labrecque Art and Film" and the introduction
of the first spoken-word sci-fi film "Your Words are Like Swords",
which broke the mold of genre and visualization and was ALSO made into
a book! A few years later "Tachyonic Anti-Telephone" was
released, a metphysical time-travel film which asks questions and does
not give answers.
In 2017, the new book "Conversations from the Fucking Future" hits the
bookstore shelves. This book is a true collection of conversations from
our soon-to-be dystopian future!

In 2018 the avantgarde love story “How to Catch a Faery with
a Bottle of Tequila” was released under the new Laser
Yoga imprint, no doubt to universal acclaim. It tells the story of
Jimmy, an ambitionless office drone in his late 40s, who is depressed
that his ex-girlfriend got hit by a bus AFTER she dumped him. Listless
and languid, he is forced into a day of adventure with his loser friend
Leon. After a busy morning of self-discovery, hi-jinks and intentional
fever-dreams in the back woods of Cape Cod, they bump into a mysterious
woodland faery, who's true identity and purpose will change their lives
